Hey Guys and Dolls!
This is just a quick post to let you all know I am taking a little break from blogging. I will be in South Africa/Botswana for the next 3 weeks. I’m not sure what internet access I will have so I probably won’t blog at all whilst I’m over there.
I will be back 16th April and I promise to get straight back to blogging. Please don’t unfollow me! 🙂
Hey Guys and Dolls!
Here is a round up of the trends showcased at the amazing live bloggers show at Bristol fashion week.
The opening scene was inspired by James Bond and featured monochrome looks from Dorothy Perkins and River Island.
Flowers, butterflies and pretty pastel colours make up this feminine trend. But boys can wear florals too! Fashions by John Lewis.
I have to admit I wasn’t really feeling these looks by but there were some pretty awesome dance moves!
Cool beachwear by Fat Face
This western theme from Timberland was my favourite collection. I loved all the crop tops, denim and cowboy boots. Yee-hah!
Neons always look great to me. How amazing is that pink maxi dress?! Fashions from John Lewis.
Spots and Stripes
More monochrome but this time it’s all about spots and stripes. Check out those crazy headpieces! Fashions by Wallis and Next.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get a great picture of this stunning flamenco style dress from Phase 8 but it was truly gorgeous.
These cute playful prints from River Island are fab.
The finale was really fun. All the models and the hosts came out onto the runway wearing a mixture of fashions from various retailers. They danced to Gangnam style which got everybody laughing. It was a super fun ending to a great show.
Hey Guys and Dolls!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. If you follow my twitter or read my blog posts on Friday you know that I spent Friday afternoon at Bristol Fashion Week’s live blogging show. I joined loads of other bloggers from the South West to tweet live from Bristol Fashion Week. This was the first time that I have done anything like this but it was so much fun and I loved every second of it!
I wore my new vintage skirt and my tartan necklace which matches it perfectly.
Skirt – WilsonStone (giveaway prize)
Top and tights – New Look
Boots – Florence and Fred
Necklace – Red Dress Boutique
Hair bow – Head full of feathers

As soon as I arrived I spotted some other bloggers and got chatting. It wasn’t difficult to see who was a blogger, we were the ones who were all tweeting and taking pics 🙂 We made our way into the fashion pavilion where we were greeted with some complimentary bubbly and yummy cupcakes.
As I was one of the first to go in I was able to grab a great seat near the front at the end of the runway. I sat with some lovely blogging ladies I had just met and we chatted about blogs and enjoyed our free drinks before the show started .

The show was hosted by TV stylist Mark Heyes and celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton. They did a great job and made it all really fun. The show itself was a showcase of the key spring/summer trends from the high street.
I took lots of pictures and will be doing a detailed post of the fashions and trends later. Stay tuned…
Hey guys and dolls!
The show is over now but I hope you enjoyed following my live tweets and these last few posts.
I will write a more detailed post with better pics very soon so remember to pop back sometime to read that 🙂
Right now I’m about to dash off across town to another fashion show, it’s such a hard life being a fashionista 😉 hehe
Have a great Friday night xx
Loving these outfits (and dance moves!) at Bristol fash week. All choreographed to one of my fave songs!
